LEAD Emporia title

What is LEAD Emporia?
Emporia LEAD is an extension of the Emporia State University LEAD program. As an elite member of LEAD Emporia you will have the opportunity to network and build relationships with the Emporia business community, learn about volunteer and service opportunities, and interact with prominent community leaders.

What does it mean to be a LEAD Emporia participant?

As a participant of LEAD Emporia, you will be introduced to a number of services you may have otherwise not known about, and have an opportunity to begin networking with multiple community leaders around the area.  You will also gain multiple perspectives on how leadership is utilized in a business setting, and how leadership can support you as you progress toward the career you desire in your future.

LEAD Emporia participants will receive a leadership t-shirt and nametag to wear to each presentation day.  Participants will also receive a presentation booklet including quick facts about each LEAD Emporia business and organization, allowing space for note taking and recording questions students would like to ask the presenters.  As the majority of presentations will take place on site of area businesses and organizations, participants will need to arrange transportation to and from each stop.  Carpooling can be arranged Location addresses and maps will be provided in the presentation booklet.
