Minutes

Present: Jorge Ballester, Nathan Creed, Ken Easthouse, Joella Mehrhof, Nancy Pontius, Rod Sobieski (ex-officio)
I. The minutes of April 15, 2004 were amended to correct Joella Mehrhof’s name and approved.
II. Ken Easthouse was unanimously elected chair.
III. Reviewed Operational Policies and Procedures. A copy will be included with the memo to requesting departments to take note of the last sentence of section VII.C.3. which states “Any funds unexpended at the end of the year revert to the Visual Arts Board account, or the Board may let the carry-over funds remain with the visual arts unit.”
IV. Voted to amend “Budget Request Form” as follows:
a. remove “SECTION ONE”
b. add the word ‘planned’ before Expenditures in the “BUDGET Break Down of Expenditures” section
c. change date to ‘By 5:00 p.m. April 2, 2005' on Budget Request Form.
V. Next meeting will be April 18, 2005 @ 2:00p.m., RH110 to hear and review proposals from interested Departments.
