Present: Paul Bland, Terra Drummond, Rachel Konomos, Aileen Moore, Jim Ryan, Rod Sobieski (ex-officio)

I. Minutes of October 12, 2006 meeting - Approved

II. Larry Schwarm and Roberta Eichenberger, Art Department and Art Gallery and Ken Weaver, SATO briefly described their programs for which they were requesting funding. They answered board members questions about their proposals and discussed the benefits they provide to ESU students and the community.

III. The board unanimously agreed to include a statement, in the award letters, recommending the Art Department include more faculty presence at the Art Forum. The board also unanimously agreed to include a statement discussing the FY08 30% decrease in funding due to an allocation of carryover funds FY07 and a steadily declining student enrollment causing a declining amount available, which should be factored into subsequent budgets.

IV. The board discussed the requests then voted unanimously to allocate $6461 to the Art Department, $4180 to the Eppink Art Gallery, and $750 to SATO.
