Present: Carol Russell, Mitch Spencer, Jessica Velazquez via email, Kelly Winfrey, Dan Kirchhefer, Rod Sobieski (ex-officio)
Sobieski presented SOK “Employee Travel Expense Reimbursement Summary” for price comparison and PAB funding information.
Discussed students paying to attend performances and faculty are paid a token amount. In requests for proposals, state that they consider the perceptions generated that paying faculty for these or suggest that PAB expense for paying faculty be acquired from a different source. Also discussed affordability of number of guests.
The PAB, according to policy, won’t support costs deemed accessory to performances such as t-shirts, picnics, performance meals above state employee recommendations, etc.

Judgements of board partially based on addressing guidelines.
Have a pre-meeting with requesting departments to go over what’s expected in their proposals.
