Broadcast of President Obama Inauguration in Albert Taylor Hall, Visser 330, and Main Street in the Memorial Union. Live broadcast at 10:30 a.m. with repeat broadcast at 1:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee, Multi-cultural Affairs, Ethnic and Gender Studies Program

William Allen White Library will be broadcasting the Inauguration Ceremony in their lobby, beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by the swearing-in ceremony and the Inaugural Address. To celebrate, the White Library Circleview Coffee Shop is offering hot drinks that day for 44 cents!

LA&S Social 5-7 PM Emporia Country Club
Emporia Arts Center’s First Annual Art Exhibition, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. 618 Mechanic Street. Current art therapy students attending Emporia State University will display and sell art pieces throughout the evening. Wine, cheese and other refreshments will be provided.
The exhibit will last till January 30th.

FINAL OPPORTUNITY
Make plans to attend Dr. James Starr's violin recital, 7:30 pm, Heath Recital Hall. The recital will include music of Mozart, Beethoven and Grieg. This will be Dr. Starr's last faculty concert as he is retiring at the end of the Spring 2009 semester.
