An extraordinarily well-preserved fossil of an insect, with beautifully patterened wings, from the Permian deposits near Elmo, Kansas, in southeastern Dickinson County. This image was scanned especially for use in this publication by Rod Asher of the Cawthron Institute, Nelson, New Zealand, from the original glass plate negative used to illustrate the type description.
