About The Teachers College

Only one other institution in the country exceeds the number of awards given to The Teachers College at Emporia State University for outstanding programs. The Teachers College has earned such national awards as the National Distinguished Program in Education Award from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) and the Christa McAuliffe Showcase for Excellence Award from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). The Teachers College at ESU is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
