Jones Distinguished Lecture Series History

Established in 1986, the Jones Distinguished Lecture Series brings to the campus of Emporia State University each year two nationally recognized leaders in education. While on campus, the lecturers meet with small groups, visit classes, conduct open forums, and deliver a formal address which is open to the university community and the public. This event is coordinated by the Jones Institute for Educational Excellence in The Teachers College at ESU. Some lecture titles from earlier years were not available.
