The mission of the Kansas Migrant and English Language Learner Academy is to provide research-based professional development for educators who would benefit from additional training to ensure success for Kansas's diverse K-12 migrant and English language learning population. KMEA was a partnership between Emporia State University and the University of Kansas from 2009 to 2012. Information about the program can now be found at www.kmeacademy.org.
