We are pleased to offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities for educators. While our smaller workshops are held at the JIEE offices, when more space is required, workshops are held at other venues.

Warning: The Emporia interchange where connections between I-35, KS Hwy 50, and the Kansas Turnpike (335) meet is being improved. Driving into this area can be confusing, especially for people coming up from Wichita on the turnpike looking to exit at Emporia. Changes to the interchange occur daily, so unfortunately, we cannot list specific directions. Please pay attention to the signs posted and allow for a few minutes extra time to get to your destination safely.

The Jones Institute for Educational Excellence is located in the lower level of The Earl Center at Emporia State University, 1601 State St.

Directions to Visser Hall >
Visser Hall, Rm 330, is otherwise known as the Jones Conference Center. It is located in the northeast corner of the third floor of Visser Hall.

Directions to ESU's Memorial Union >
Parking for access to Memorial Union requires a permit. Prior to the event, if you have registered, a parking permit will be sent to the address you included on your registration. Please contact JIEE if you have not received a permit (1-877-378-5433, czlab@emporia.edu).

The Mary Herbert Education Center is located at 1700 West 7th in Emporia.
