We've all had it happen - an event in our lives or an ill-timed snow storm interrupts our plans. So, just in case...

A minimum of 8 registrations must be received per workshop. If fewer than 8 participants are registered three days prior to the workshop, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the workshop. We will notify all those registered if a workshop is canceled or postponed.

Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance or fees will be due; same district substitutions are allowed. Districts or responsible parties will be billed for the full fee if JIEE is not notified of a cancellation. We understand emergencies happen and we will consider those on an individual basis if we have been contacted in a timely manner.

Bad weather happensInclement Weather

JIEE workshops and conferences are rarely canceled or postponed due to inclement weather. If weather conditions are severe enough to warrant cancellation or postponement of an event, an announcement will be posted to THIS WEB PAGE (if all necessary technology is available) and area media will be alerted. You may also call JIEE at 1-877-378-5433 and listen to the voice mail message where an announcement will be recorded or you will talk to JIEE staff who can inform you of any changes.
