IT Remote Assistance
An Information Technology (IT) employee will be connecting to your computer for the purpose of technical support and assistance. In order to access this service, a small application must be downloaded to your computer for the duration of the remote assistance connection.
This connection will employe a 256-bit encryption (based on RSA public/private key exchange and AES 256-bit). You will retain control for the duration of this session and can terminate the session at any time. Please close any personal or confidential information on your screen as a technician will be viewing your desktop. The IT employee will have remote access to your computer for no more than the duration of each remote assistance session. Each remote assistance session will require an individual session ID and password.
By using this service, you hereby acknowledge and warrant that you are the owner, or an authorized individual, with the authority to consent to the remote access and service, of this computer and all information contained as defined herein.
By using this service, you hereby authorize IT to work on this computer equipment and access any and all information contained on the computer as defined herein. You understand that as a result of submitting this computer equipment for work it could be subject to loss, theft, damage, or data loss. By granting ESU IT permission to work on this computer equipment, you understand that it may void any existing warranties. You understand and agree that in certain situations ESU and IT may be required or need to report information about your computer to third parties.

You hereby release and agree to indemnify ESU to the greatest extent allowed by law, IT, its employees, agents and governing board from any and all liability for attempting to repair your personal computer at no charge.
