Welcome to the New IT Department!

The arrival of 2013 brings with it a new name and a new online look for information technology services here at Emporia State University.  Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, or a member of our broader university community, these positive changes will help you to identify and utilize the technologies you need to succeed here at Emporia State.

The past year, we were pleased to provide a number of new services, including Google Apps (including ESU Gmail accounts for all students), more convenient guest wireless access along with greatly expanded wireless coverage, and technology training for faculty through the “U-Innovate” initiative. During the coming year, we look forward to continuing to provide and support new technologies that enhance your experience and ensure your success at Emporia State. We are particularly excited about the new ESU Mobile App and new virtual lab and desktop services for all ESU students, faculty, and staff.

IT is here to serve you - if you have needs or suggestions related to information technology, please do not hesitate to contact our office or me personally. Whether you are a student needing assistance with your mobile device, a faculty member seeking ideas and support to utilize technology in the classroom, or a staff member needing assistance with technology to support our students and faculty, the Information Technology team here at ESU is dedicated to working with you as a partner in your success and is excited to assist you.
