 Online Recreation Program

This is a new exciting option for students who want to pursue a degree in recreation. The Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation offered through the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) at Emporia State University can be completed entirely through web based courses so the student does not have to travel to campus.

Procedures to Apply for the Online Recreation Program

  1. Students must be admitted to Emporia State University to qualify for admission to the online Recreation program. Students may apply for Emporia State University admission by contacting the Admissions Office at 1-877-468-6378, or by visiting the Admissions website.
  2. Students entering Emporia State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Recreation must be formally admitted to the online Recreation program. Recreation Application Form
  3. Admission to the Recreation progrm is a separate requirement and is in addition to other University admission requirements. Admission to the Recreation program is contingent upon fulfillment of all the following requirements listed above in admission requirements.
