Accreditation Information

Athletic Training

The ESU Athletic Training Program is fully accredited through Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).

Health Education and Physical Education

The ESU Health Education and Physical Education Teacher Licensure Programs are accredited through National council fo Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The ESU Health Promotion Program is acredited through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). This accreditation is called the University Connection Endorsement Program (UCEP) and was achieved in 2006. As a certified university, students in the Health Promotion program are eligible to take the ACSM certification exam upon graduation.
