The writing of a thesis is one of the most important degree requirements. The brief suggestions that follow are designed to provide information useful in conducting thesis research and preparation of the thesis.

The Office of Graduate Studies & Research has not adopted an official thesis style. Students should contact their advisors or department chairpersons concerning the thesis style sheet or manual used by the department. A listing of thesis guides, by department, is included in this booklet.
