Peggy Anderson
Secretary to the Graduate Dean
Peggy oversees the operations of the Office of Graduate Studies and serves as an administrative assistant to the Graduate Dean. She is also responsible for processing all graduate assistantship award forms and works closely with faculty and students in resolving problems or answering questions concerning graduate assistantships.
Doug Cooper
Graduate Degree Analyst
Doug's primary responsibility is to verify that all requirements as set by the Board of Regents, Emporia State University, the Graduate Council, and the Graduate Dean have been met by prospective degree candidates and to subsequently certify that prospective candidates are eligible for degree conferral. Communication with faculty, staff, advisors, divisional personnel, and prospective degree candidates in noting problems that would delay the awarding of the degree and rectifying these problems is an integral part of Doug's position.
Dean of Graduate Studies
Dr. Bleeker acts as liasion between students, faculty, the Kansas Board of Regents, and academic departments while ensuring the integrity of the graduate programs.
Pam is responsible for the operation of the research and sponsored program office, which handles the pre- and post-award functions of grant activity on campus.
Mary Sewell
Admissions Coordinator
Mary serves as the Admissions Coordinator in the Graduate Office. She is responsible for data entry of graduate applications, GPA calculations, and the tracking of necessary admission materials. She works closely with students and staff to resolve problems and secure necessary information for admission to ESU graduate programs.
