Experience the spring break of a lifetime! The ESU Alternative Spring Break provides an opportunity for ESU students to travel across the nation and perform community service activities fellow service leaders from various locations. ASB brings a week packed full of life-changing experiences and worthwhile causes so that you can truly make an impact country-wide!

The annual ASB trip is planned in mid-September with Habitat for Humanity, Collegiate Challenge. Alternative Spring Break-ers are selected and finalized by the middle of October.

How to apply (National Project):

  • Answer the following questions in a Word document:
    1. Why do you want to go on Alternative Spring Break?
    2. What do you feel is the importance of Habitat for Humanity?
    3. What experiences are you hoping to gain by participating in this trip?
    4. Are you willing to continue being a member of Alternative Spring Break after the trip?
  • Email the Word document to with the subject "Alternative Spring Break".
