Minutes
PRESENT: Tony Ambrosio, Phil Bennett, Paul Bland, Barbara Bleeker, Gary Bleeker, Malonne Davies, George Durler, Nicole Gannon, Ellen Hansen, Nancy Hite, Steve Neill, Dennis Schmitt and Gary Wyatt.
I. Minutes of November 8, 2006 were approved.
II. Announcements:
Several council members inquired about the rumor that ESU would no longer accept credit for College Algebra taken at community colleges. G. Bleeker will check into this matter.
III. Old Business:
After lengthy discussion, council members agreed to divide into three subcommittees for the purpose of reviewing and aligning the courses proposed for the revised general education program with the new goals and outcomes. Each subcommittee will review a third of the course proposals and submit a report at the next meeting. Durler agreed to design an Excel spreadsheet for this review.
IV. New Business: None
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
