Ambrosio agreed to work with Neal Luo to conduct a correlation between CAAP writing scores (essay and objective test totals) and grades in each of the following courses: EG102, GO326, SP500, EG301. Over the summer, Ambrosio will have Brenda Nichols examine archived CAAP exemption forms to determine the frequency of each writing exemption option exercised by ESU students in the last calendar year (e.g., Aug 1 2005 to Aug 1 2006). They will also tally the frequency of students who used each of the above courses to fulfill the intensive writing course option. Issue was tabled for future discussion.
