Loan Repayment
The Federal Student Aid website includes information and advice about managing student loan debt, a list of key telephone numbers and websites, and a variety of useful charts. Topics include the student loan interest deduction, consolidation loans, repayment plans, income-based repayment, public service loan forgiveness, dealing with financial difficulty, default, deferments and forbearances, loan rehabilitation, budgeting tips and loan cancellation.
Solutions from ECMC
We’ve teamed up with Solutions from ECMC to answer all of your student loan repayment questions. Solutions is a service of the non-profit organization, ECMC, and is dedicated to helping students manage educational loans. Their resources are available to you free of charge. Student Loan Forgiveness
In some cases, students may be eligible to have all or a portion of their federal student loans forgiven. Loan forgiveness is applicable to both the Federal Stafford and Federal Perkins loan programs. More information on loan forgiveness can be found at the Department of Education's website.
