Professional Judgment - Authority is given to financial aid administrators to make an adjustment in financial aid to consider changes in a family's financial situation. These situations may include a parent or independent student loss of income, unusual medical expenses, divorce, death of a wage earner, or loss of public or private entitlement funds.
