Flint Hills Review
Flint Hills Review, an annual publication with a national circulation, is celebrating its 20th year!
Flint Hills Review is open to beginning and experienced writers who exhibit excellence in terms of composition and craft. We publish work with a particular interest in region, including regions of place, regions of ethnicity, regions of gender, and regions of memory.
We welcome poetry, short fiction, short plays, and creative nonfiction as well as art and photography which can be successfully reproduced into black and white print. We have recently selected works by Julene Bair, Elizabeth Dodd, Dennis Etzel Jr., Patricia Lawson, and Amanda Frost.
FHR is housed in the ESU Donald Reichardt Center for Publishing and Literary Arts, and receives support from the Creative Writing Program at Emporia State University, located in the rolling green Flint Hills grasslands of Kansas.
