Emporia Walk for Hunger

2:00PM - 4:30PM | Welch Stadium

The annual Emporia Walk for Hunger supports four community agencies dedicated to feeding the hungry: Abundant Harvest, Corky’s Cupboard, Food for Students, and Salvation Army. Donated money and food will be split equally among these four organizations, with 10% going to a hunger initiative outside of Emporia. The walk will consist of 20 laps around Emporia State University’s Zola Witten track, which is located inside Welch Stadium. Hornet families, friends, and community members of all ages are invited to participate and donate money and food to feed the hungry.
