MISSION STATEMENT
The Council of Faculty Senate Presidents is charged by the Kansas Board of Regents in its Policy and Procedures manual to address faculty concerns in a focused and efficient manner. To accomplish this mission and ensure quality education in Kansas Regents Institutions, the Council of Faculty Senate Presidents will:
1. Communicate with faculties, administrators, the Kansas Board of Regents and legislators.
2. Initiate collegial discussions of key issues affecting faculty and quality education.
3. Educate and involve the publics served by Kansas Regents Institutions.
Mission of the Council of Faculty Senate Presidents as adopted by the Council of Faculty Senate Presidents on November 18, 1998.
"The Council of Faculty Senate Presidents (COFSP) Consists of the duly elected Faculty or University Faculty Senate President or chairperson from each Regents institution and the Kansas University Medical Center. Upon invitation from the chair of the Board of Regents, COFSP's function is to address faculty concerns in a focused and efficient manner. The chairperson is from the same institution as the chair of the Council of Presidents." (2-87)
