FSR 01022 Resolution Commending Barbara Kern
Whereas Barbara Kern has provided innumerable services to the Faculty Senate at Emporia State University, and
Whereas she has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Policies and Procedures Manual of ESU, and
Whereas she knows the history and rationale behind nearly every policy at ESU,
and
Whereas she is more than willing to assist the officers of the Faculty Senate to navigate the
bureaucracy of ESU and the Board of Regents, and
Whereas she has cheerfully, diligently and conscientiously helped the officers of the Faculty
Senate with their many questions, and
Whereas she does this with a sense of humor,
Therefore be it resolved that the Faculty Senate of Emporia State University extends its sincere
appreciation to and commendation of Barbara Kern for her excellent help and support this
year.
