Co-Editors
Michael Smith, Professor of Political Science, coordinate peer review across all disciplines. Questions regarding submission and review of manuscripts should be directed to him (msmith3@emporia.edu).
Deborah Hann, Dr. Deborah Hann is an Assistant Professor in the Social Science, Sociology, and Criminology Department here at ESU. After receiving her Ph.D. from the Geography Department at Texas State University, she has continued her research examining the geographic content inherent within material culture such as children’s literature and cookbooks. Her research particularly focuses upon how that content conveys narratives of places and peoples, as well as how material culture contributes to mental maps and identities. She teaches World Regional Geography, Cartography, Cultural Geography, and more focused classes like the World in Film, and Food, Culture, and Place. (dhann@emporia.edu).
