• Faye Stevenson becomes the first BFA graduate in Engraving Arts at Emporia State University.
• The Fourth Grandmasters featuring Philippe Grifnée and Alain Lovenberg will be hosted by Glendo from 9/26 to 9/28.
• James Ehlers, Maiko Okamura and Ashton Ludden were juried into the Fifth Biennial International Miniture Print Exhibition for their engravings. The show will be exhibited at the Dunadrave Gallery and Federation Gallery in British Columbia.
• James Ehlers and Gerry Wubben (McNeese State University) are collaborating once more to coordinate the Engraving 2009 Invitational Portfolio Exchange. This exchange of prints consists of professional artists all over the United States and two from Europe (Germany and Spain).
