East Asian Studies Program

 

In 2006, ESU students and faculty went to Beijing for a three-week Mandarin Chinese Language training program at Beijing Union University, located in Beijing, China. During the first two weeks, students participated in language classes in the mornings and cultural activities in the afternoons.  Weekend excursions included: the Great Wall of China, Ming Dynasty Tombs, Tian-an Men Square, The Palace Museum, Summer Palace, The Temple of Heaven, and shopping in Open Air Markets.
