Why do I need to learn Chinese?

 

Reason #1.    Chinese is the most spoken language in the world, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, areas in Southeast Asia, and cities in the US and Europe.

Reason #2.    China boasts the fastest economic growth in the world today and is the 3^rd largest economic body worldwide.

Reason #3.    China’s robust economic growth has attracted the most foreign investment in the world.

Reason #4.    China is one of the most important markets for U.S. exports. 

Reason #5.    China has played an important role in the world’s politics.

Reason #6.    Love the internet? China draws the most internet users in the world.

Reason #7.    China enjoys a civilization of over 5000 years. Its arts, literature, architecture, history, religions, and philosophy influence many parts of the world beyond China.

Reason #8.    Certified Chinese language teachers are in great demand both in the US and worldwide.

Reason #9.    Of course, traveling to China is a lot of fun, more fun if you can speak the language.

Reason #10.    The Chinese language has a straightforward grammar, very easy to master.
