Nitrates - 2002
Data cells represent forty acre units where well water
samples were tested for nitrate levels. The legend represents values
from 0-150 parts per million (ppm) or milligrams per liter (mg/L).
Nitrate levels are reported as "nitrates as nitrogen" with an established
EPA limit of 10 ppm. Values appearing as light blue or lighter blue
are over the limit. The south and west parts of the district generally
show levels at or above established limits.
