Hardness - 2002
Data cells represent forty acre units where well water
samples were tested for hardness levels. The legend represents values
from 0-2400 parts per million (ppm) or milligrams per liter (mg/L).
Hardness levels are reported with no established EPA limit in the United
States. Hardness dramatically increases in the east half of the district.
This is probably due to the dissolving of a different rock layer.
