You know that catchy phrase that desperate men and women use in a bar "What's your sign?" Well just think if it didn't exist. What phrase would they use? Maybe what's your stone? Or better yet, what's your mineral? If someone was to ask me that then I would say a ruby, even though a ruby is the birth stone for the month of July and I was born in June. The birthstone assigned to June is an alexandite or a pearl, and I would rather have a fiery and energetic stone like a ruby! I really don't know why I like rubies. Maybe it has to do with what the people of India thought it brought them: health, wisdom, and success in love. I also have expensive taste and in the ancient language of India it was called "ratnaraj" which translates to "King of Gems".
