Introduction
As a student of Emporia State University I am creating this web page in compliance with the Earth Science Lab on Earthquakes. Within this particular lab we were instructed in the mapping of the epicenter of an earthquake. We learned about the "P" and "S" waves that are a part of an earthquake. Also, this lab covered how to locate and map the epicenter of a earthquake. Within this page you will find examples, instructions and mapping of an epicenter, as well as terms and definitions commonly associated with earthquakes.
