An introduction to recognition, terminology, and classification of minerals, rocks, and sediments. The emphasis is on sight identification and description using only simple equipment.

The spring semester campus-based course will meet on Tuesdays from 3:00 until 4:50 pm. The first meeting will be January 22, 2008.
