These next three are marker rather
than paint.
All of these pieces were found under various bridges in Tartu. Bridges over the river seem like the ideal place to
leave your mark, but the humidity makes the paint deteriorate faster than usual, so some of these look washed out.
Nothin' much to say.
Bright, colorful, I like it!
True to Hip-Hop, here's a DJ
whose so good, he's on fire.
Inventive use of the can as a letter.
Dirty is probably the writer whose
work I like best in Tartu.
Tartu has the honor of being not only
the home of Hip- Hop writers, but
also punks that are into paint. Cool.
Self-portrait. Maybe.
I think this translates to something
like, "Will you have enough food this
winter?" but my Estonian isn't so
good.
Zapppppp.
I think this is one of the funniest
pieces I've seen (it's under a bridge
that spans the river).
Edited for content (I'm being hosted
by ESU's server ya know).
Too bad it's sooo hard to see.
I had to seriously zoom in to get this
piece, so there's no link. To get any
closer than I was would involve some
Indiana Jones style climbing, so I
passed it up for that day.
Pain eh? Reeally...
White Zombie in hiding, or just
an impostor?
Man, climbing under bridges
to get good photos can be a
pain in the butt (and this
picture isn't even that good).
Good use of the art form to
send a political message.
A misspelling, or does it have
a deeper meaning...
Danger! Roving packs of 'graffiti punks'
are roaming the streets of Tartu late at
night searching for their next fix! Be on
the watch!
Speaks for itself...
Hmmmm....
I don't know if this is why he picked
the name, but Gruuv is the name of
an orange flavoured soft drink
available in Estonia.
Stencils were used on this one.
