Perhaps you've heard the term bog used before. Maybe you've wondered just exactly what kind of land that refered to. Well, if this question has ever come into your mind, then you've reached the right place. This web page has been designed to give one a closer look at the unique and important habitat known as the bog. It was created in conjunction with the Estonian Nature and Ecology course, which is taught at the University of Tartu as part of the Baltic Studies program. As the name of this course implies, this web site has a definite Estonian angle.
