BID Degree Requirements

1. The student must complete at least 124 semester hours of credit in courses numbered 100 and above to include:

   • General Education Requirements of 48 hours:

     • Majority of General Education Requirements should be completed prior to beginning the bIS program.
     • If you have not completed your General Education Requirements please contact the BID Advisor for information and guidance.
2. Minimum of 33 hours in the student's program of study
3. Minimum of 45 hours in Junior/Senior level courses
4. Minimum of 60 hours must be completed at a four-year college or university
   • A maximum of 25% of the total university hour requirement of 124 hours may be taken in courses offered by the School of Business (no more than 30 hours).
5. One of the following must be met:
   • A total of 75 hours earned from ESU or
   • A total of 30 of the final 45 hours earned at ESU
6. ESU and cumulative GPA of 2.0
7. The student must satisfactorily complete BID Seminar and BID Capstone courses
8. The student must fulfill the university's competency examination requirement
