The Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction is a 34 hour program with concentrations available in Curriculum Leadership Pre-K-12, Effective Practitioner Pre-K-12, and National Board Certification Pre-K-12. The Master of Science in Curriculum & Instruction provides a solid background in the area of curriculum.
This is also part of a dual masters program with our Building Level Educational Administration masters. This program is offered online, at Emporia Sate University, and at the Metro Learning Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Please note that each candidate must gain admission to a graduate program through the Graduate School by completing the Graduate Application plus pay the one-time graduate application fee to the Office of Graduate Studies or by applying on line at the following secure website http://www.emporia.edu/grad/appinstr.htm.
Upon completion of the application and payment of the fee to the Graduate Office, the candidate will be allowed to enroll in courses. In addition to meeting the requirements of the Office of Graduate Studies, the Department of School Leadership/Middle/Secondary Teacher Education requires the basic admissions requirements listed below.
