TCS has developed tutorials to assist faculty with many technical areas associated with teaching off-campus and online. As new tutorials are made, these will be added to the link at the right.

Tutorials

The ESU Helpdesk assists faculty with technology and computing needs. Their primary areas of support include:

• Campus network and wireless connections (new requests, configuration, access failure, etc.)
• E-mail
• BuzzIn Portal
• Passwords and Userids
• PC and Mac problems (operating system, virus eradication, etc.)

Helpdesk hours:
Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
Friday - 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Saturday - 11:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday - 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Technology Help
There is also help available the ESU Tech Site to assist students with answers, software, wireless, blackboard,etc.
Also, if you are having problems with your computer, the helpdesk will be able to remotely assess your computer to help you diagnosis the problem.

The Library has a wonderful service for faculty both on and off-campus. The service is the Electronic Reserve - if you have materials you would like to put online for your distance students, contact the library or go to this link for information on this service.

The staff in Distance Education would be more than happy to assist you with any concerns or problems you have related to distance education. Contact anyone in this office for help, if we can't answer the question, we can direct you to the person or office that should be able to help.
