Kurzweil 3000
The Kurzweil 3000 is a screen reader software geared to meet the needs of students with disabilities where their reading is impacted. This type of software is used in accessing printed material converted into a digital format. This type of conversion is referred to needing required reading materials in an alternative format. The learning curve is relatively short for this technology and user assistance can be found in the Office of Disability Services. If you are unaware of how to use the software, please make an appointment with office staff for an initial overview.
Currently, the Kurzweil 3000 is available in the Office of Disability Services for registered students to use.
