KID LUNAR
Bryce and I are out front of Bryce’s house punching each other. It’s probably around 3 a.m. Up on the porch there is loud music playing. It thumps and shakes the white peeling paint boards that hold together the porch and the guy singing is singing in purple. There are lost of cars along the street we’re a trip and a fall away from. It’s a main drag in Kansas: Manhattan.
Bryce hits me in the fucking jaw.
Whack. I hit him. He stumbles backwards.
I got into town around 11 ‘o’clock in the p.m. I had to deliver Chinese up in Emporia till around 9:30. Then, Chelsea and I bought a 30 pack at the convenience store and drove up here like mad. Me getting stoned in the passenger’s seat the whole time. ...
