There's always room for new members!  UAC needs your ideas and your involvement to make your ESU experience all it can be.  You can become a member by volunteering as part of a UAC committee for as little as one hour a week.

UAC's six committees (Featured Events, Live Music, Public Relations, Talks and Topics, Variety Entertainment, and Visual Arts) provide a great variety of areas to choose from.  So join the fun...and bring a friend!

UAC committees are responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of the following:

Live Music: programs focusing on a variety of music (i.e. concerts, dances, coffeehouses, instrumental and vocal music).

Featured Events: major events hosted by UAC (i.e. Homecoming, Family Day, and Flintstock).

Variety Entertainment: programs focusing on the contemporary and performing arts (i.e. cultural programs, comedy, magic, etc.)

Public Relations: promoting UAC to ESU and the Emporia community.

Visual Arts: programs involving the film medium, discount movie night, and other visual programs.

Talks and Topics: programs focusing on current issues (i.e. lectures, panel discussions, debates, forums, etc.).
