Hornet Walk and Convocation

Sunday, August 12, 1:30pm
Emporia State University
Plumb Hall, Albert Taylor Hall

Entering into the academic world is one of the most important aspects of Emporia State University. During the traditional Hornet Walk, faculty, staff and families will be asked to line the sidewalk in front of Plumb Hall to recognize the newest additions to the student body as they walk into Albert Taylor Hall, signifying their entrance into ESU.

During Convocation in Albert Taylor Hall, President Lane, and Dr. James Williams, Vice President for Student Affairs, will officially welcome all new students to the University.

Be present at the Hornet Walk and Convocation and have a special opportunity to be awarded one of five $200 textbook scholarships donated by the Memorial Union Bookstore.
