Attendance: Steve, Wesley, Linda, Jeff, Julie, Tyson, Graham, Jeremy, Molly, Lindsey, Rachel, Amanda, Dr. Schrader

• Nominations for 4 positions were today. Prepare a 1 minute speech about why you would be good at that position or what you would like to accomplish next year. We will meet to vote and have elections May 1.
  • President nominations were Julie and Tyson
  • VP nominations were Tyson, Jeff, and Amanda
  • Secretary nominations were Graham, Linda, Marcy
  • Treasurer nominations were Amanda, Jeff, Wesley
• We are going to leave for SIOP conference at 9:00 am and can park our cars in the free gravel parking down by the softball field entrance. Those of you who are driving will need to go pick up the vans. Don’t forget your Bus Drivers License Certification. We have 9 girls and 4 boys going. If you have an air mattress, you might want to bring it just in case. You will need to bring your own money for cab fares and food and any other expenses you might have. We suggest bringing $200-$300.
• Camping is tentative for the last weekend in September (Friday the 29th)
• Things to remember for next year: The new president and VP might want to go to the meeting with the 2nd years to meet Diane Kramer from USD # 253 for consulting projects. She will be retiring so you will want to get the new contact information.
• Fundraising will be important to fund for next years SIOP in NYC since ASG is only allocating about $1,000. You might want to consider 2 softball tournaments, one each semester. The teams from this year want to be contacted again if we do this. Also getting greek life involved would be good.
  Also, to receive allocations from ASG, we need 20 hours of community service, which is usually the Cub Scout Haunted House.

We are talking about getting together one last time before graduation. Possibly bowling on Thursday May, 11. we’ll get back to you on the time.
