How does one achieve success? Is it how you are raised? Is it through your schooling? Maybe experience plays a part, or taking a class that teaches you how to be successful. I can tell you one thing; all of the men associated with this website have chosen Phi Sigma Kappa as their lightning rod for success.

Why have these men chosen to be part of a Fraternity? The story is different for everyone. Some want scholarships. Some want to broaden their friend base. Some join believing a fraternity is the best way to party. All of these are true! While some of these reasons may not be as desirable as others, it is still a reason. And as one becomes a Phi Sig, the purpose and goal become one in the same, to succeed. No matter what; nearly all activities that a fraternity does will succeed in one aspect or another. It may be to win a Homecoming competition or to have a successful social event with a sorority. It may even be to help one raise their GPA, or learn to balance a checkbook, or even to prioritize everything one might do in a day. Even the disappointments can be considered successes since we all must learn from our mistakes. Joining a Fraternity is not just to "have fun" or to "party." While there is a fair amount of that as well, the ultimate outcome is to learn the ways of success. One doesn't always know they are learning so much until they have graduated and gone out into the real world. I can't begin to say that everything I did as an active was a success, no one's is. But I can say that the knowledge I gained from these experiences have shaped who I am today.

I hope that if you are reading this you are looking into joining a Fraternity. I can't even begin to describe how much it has meant to me. It has a lasting impression that's very hard to ignore. Please take a moment to reflect on your life and decide if you have the urge to be part of something more. A fraternity might be right up your alley. Feel free to call or e-mail me if you would like to talk. I always have an open ear. Thank you for your time.
