ESU DU Mission Statement
Ducks Unlimited is a non-profit organization, founded in 1937, dedicated to waterfowl and wetland conservation. Funds generated through voluntary, tax-deductible contributions are used to enhance, acquire and restore habitat in Canada, the United States and Mexico. More than one-half of North America's natural wetland areas have been lost during the past century. Since its founding, Ducks Unlimited has helped restore over 10 million acres in North America for waterfowl and some 900 other wildlife species that use these integral, but fragile parts of the ecosystem.
