In the Beginning. . .
E.S.U. Ducks Unlimited was started in August 2004. Ducks Unlimited’s Kansas Southern Regional Director, Barry Allen, and Flint Hills Ducks Unlimited Chairman, Rolland Trahoon, and several of the first executive officers began the idea of a university chapter. With the help of academic spanners Dr. Greg Smith and Dr. Derek Zelmer, other interested students and the Emporia State University Associated Student Government the Emporia State University Chapter of Ducks Unlimited was born.
