Greetings
to all fellow ESU Delta Pi Epsilon members. As I sit down at my computer
to compose my last President's message, my thoughts reflect back over
the past two years serving as your Alpha Delta Chapter President. We have
traveled across this great state to discover new methods of teaching our
business subjects, toured dynamic facilities, admired business owners
as they shared about their business endeavors, experienced new technological
advances, and absolutely enjoyed bonding with fellow colleagues.
I truly hope you are proud of what Alpha Delta chapter has accomplished
the past two years. My unending gratitude goes out to my faithful officer
team of: Sandy, Liz, Jan, Gloria, Jerry, Jade, and Ruthann. Their 'take
charge' and willingness to 'make a difference' attitude kept our officer
and chapter meetings on target in order to keep the rich heritage of Delta
Pi Epsilon alive for this new millennium. I have grown professionally
due to officers and members constant support and devotion to Delta Pi
Epsilon. Thank you, Alpha Delta, for this wonderful opportunity and experience
to serve as your local chapter President.
Looking forward to seeing you at our next meeting (Thursday, February
17) at the Emporia Country Club, Emporia, Kansas. This meeting is in conjunct
with the ESU Computer/Business Teacher Conference.
My last thoughts--
When was the last time you mentioned the benefits of belonging to Delta
Pi Epsilon??!! Only the officers and members can help to advertise and
recruit members for this distinguished organization. Contact Liz Voorhees
(316) 342-5707 for membership information
