R. B. Russell Award, 1979-1994
R. B. Russell/G. K. Walters Award, 1995 to present

Each year, members of the Alpha Delta Chapter, Delta Pi Epsilon, nominate a Kansas business teacher at the high school or community college level as an outstanding Kansas business teacher. The Executive Committee selects the winner from the entries.

As a way of honoring Dr. R. B. Russell, this award was named on his behalf from 1979-1994. In 1995, the name of the award was changed to the R. B. Russell/G. K. Walters Award to honor our long-time friend of business education and past sponsor of the Alpha Delta Chapter, Dr. George K. Walters.
